Call to host ISHA 2029 Annual Scientific Meeting: European Region

The ISHA Executive Board is delighted to invite Expressions of Interest to host the ISHA 2029 Annual Scientific Meeting.  The regional rotational pattern for 2029 is “Europe”, so we are seeking expressions of interest from ISHA members in Good Standing from only countries which are classified as part of Europe by the United Nations geosystem (Turkey for this purpose falls into the “Rest of the World” rotation).

The application to host is a 3 step process:
i. Written Expression of Interest
ii. Shortlist of 4 – 5 max invited to submit full written bid proposal, including detailed costing for which a budget template will be provided
iii. Shortlist of final 2 or 3, to present in October 2025 to the General Board in Fukuoka, Japan.
