ISHA Approved Course: Hip Conditions and Strategies in Preservation: A Practical Course
Join Dr. Olufemi Ayeni (McMaster University, Canada), invited keynote speaker Dr. Oliver Marin-Peña (University Hospital Infanta Leonor, Spain), and 12 distinguished faculty on May 25, 2024 at the White Oaks Conference Centre in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario for this exciting Hip Course. Learning objectives include gaining a comprehensive understanding of hip imaging and diagnostic techniques, the appropriate use of non-operative interventions and strategies, how to formulate a management plan for hip disorders, further knowledge in hip arthroscopy, and more. CME credits available.

ISHA Approved Course: Practical Course in Orthopedics
Orthopedics is a rapidly evolving field, and it is paramount for medical professionals to stay abreast of the latest breakthroughs, surgical techniques, and treatment modalities. PCO aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice by providing attendees live clinical cases, interactive sessions, and engaging discussions led by our faculty of esteemed experts who will guide and inspire attendees, sharing their insights and expertise garnered from years of experience. The Practical Course in Orthopedics emphasizes a patient-centered approach. By embracing an interdisciplinary perspective and considering the broader aspects of patient well-being, we can deliver comprehensive and compassionate care that goes beyond surgical interventions. Through a meticulously curated programme, we have brought together a diverse array of topics that encompass the spectrum of knee and hip surgery.

Apply to have your meeting or course approved by ISHA

Please contact the ISHA Secretariat at member@isha.net to apply to have your annual meeting, scientific conference or education course accepted as an ISHA – The Hip Preservation Society approved meeting or course. Approved meetings and courses will be posted in the website section above and advertised through ISHA’s social media channels.

In-Person Meetings

The following criteria have to be met:

  • At least one of the course directors must be an ISHA member
  • The scientific programme must exhibit high quality education
  • At least three members of the faculty should be ISHA members
  • The course must present 1 or 2 slides promoting ISHA
  • If companies are sponsoring the course, at least two different companies must be represented
  • The course must provide one waived registration fee for an ISHA committee member, who will provide a report to the ISHA office

ISHA approved meetings and courses are asked

  • to use the ISHA logo on course materials;
  • to provide one complimentary registration for an ISHA member to attend;
  • to provide an in kind opportunity for either an ISHA advert in the final programme or an opportunity for an ISHA bag insert in the delegate bag.

Virtual Meetings

The following criteria have to be met:

  • At least one of the course directors must be an ISHA member
  • The scientific programme must exhibit high quality education
  • At least three members of the faculty should be ISHA members
  • The course must present 1 or 2 slides promoting ISHA
  • If companies are sponsoring the course, at least two different companies must be represented
  • The course must provide one waived registration fee for an ISHA committee member, who will provide a report to the ISHA office

ISHA approved courses are asked

  • to use the ISHA logo on course materials;
  • to provide one complimentary registration for an ISHA member to participate.
